Rossdarroch is a private family home set on the banks of Loch Lomond, with direct waterside proximity and an exceptional outlook across the loch and hills beyond. After approximately two decades of limited maintenance, the property required a considered programme of works to bring it back to a standard fit for everyday family life.

The scope was deliberately broad and carefully sequenced. New windows were installed throughout, the roof was repaired, the access road upgraded, and the heating systems renewed, alongside extensive internal alterations planned around how the family wished to live in the home day to day.

Working within a national park setting added a further layer of consideration to every decision. Materials, methods and timings were chosen to respect the sensitivities of the location, while our in house team coordinated each trade quietly and efficiently to deliver a refined family home that sits comfortably within its landscape.

Completed in the summer of 2020, this project to convert and extend an aged barn into a swimming pool and bar area for a private client was one of the most significant transformations we have delivered.

Our client engaged a full design team to develop and realise their vision for the property, taking disused space, then extending and transforming it into a private pool house complete with a refined bar area, all while maximising the open outlook across the Lanarkshire countryside.

Our in-house team managed and delivered every aspect of the project, working alongside selected specialist partners to bring the build to a successful finish for a delighted client.
