Bargany House is a private castle set in the Ayrshire countryside, taken on for the same client we had previously worked with elsewhere. The continued relationship allowed the team to step straight into a complex programme with a clear, shared understanding of the standard expected.

The works were extensive and carefully sequenced. A full programme of roofing was undertaken, alongside considered rot repairs to original timbers and structural elements where decades of weathering had taken their toll. Throughout, the focus was on protecting the castle’s original fabric while quietly bringing it back to a sound, watertight and enduring condition.

Inside, the property was comprehensively refurbished to a refined private residence standard. Among the headline elements was a notably high quality bespoke kitchen, designed and installed to sit comfortably within the historic stonework while delivering the precision, performance and detail expected of a contemporary luxury home.
