Athole
West End, Glasgow
A complete refurbishment of an outstanding 1880s sandstone townhouse in Glasgow’s West End, sensitively reworked to create a refined city home for a private family.
This project was a major refurbishment of a sandstone townhouse in Glasgow’s West End. The outstanding property dates back to the 1880s and required extensive work to create a perfect city dwelling for the family.
The client was in the process of relocating to Scotland from the USA and was introduced to us by a fellow professional who recommended the team as an experienced contractor that could be trusted to operate with absolute discretion. A detailed brief was developed with the client prior to work commencing.
The scope covered the full four floor townhouse and included careful stone repairs, a complete roof replacement and extensive internal alterations finished to a luxury standard. The works were planned and delivered to protect the integrity of the original Victorian fabric while quietly introducing the comfort, services and finishes expected of a modern private home.
